Taking in the sunset on the Croatian coast.
I slept under the stars to the sound of the waves. This was the first time I'd seen the sea since leaving the British Isles.

Waving back to locals in Egypt.
As we cycle through small villages & towns, locals shout "welcome to Egypt" to us.

Waiting for the next police escort under armed guard in Egypt.
Almost all my journey through Egypt was under police escort.

Cycling through the Argentinian pampa.
The landscape stays the same for hundreds of kilometres & the winds are brutal.

Riding out of the mountains
After briefly cycling through the cold & wet Bosnian mountains, I was pretty keen to get back to the warmth of the Croatian coast.

Not a suntan, seriously.
3 days of riding on broken, dusty Tanzanian roads, alongside trucks & coaches, provides a different sort of tan.

Wild camping in Kenya.
Sleeping in the bush on a game reserve in Kenya, with hyenas barking throughout the night.

What goes up must come down
After finishing my first big mountain pass (Albula Pass - 2,315m) in Switzerland, it's now time to enjoy the descent.

What lies ahead?
No mans land between Argentina & Chile. After a ferry crossing over Lago O'Higgins it's time to start the Carreterra Austral.

Sometimes you have to push
A steep, rocky climb in a remote part of Kenya's Great Rift Valley, that was impossible to ride up.

Another night under the stars
Sleeping in the north Kenyan desert. Nothing to hide behind other than a small area previously used for catching rain water.

Old Dongola, Sudan
Pushing through the sands to explore the Anicent ruins of Old Dongola.

Roadside sand dunes
The desert knows no boundaries & sometimes the road becomes engulfed by the natural environment.

Final glance at the Fitzroy range
Leaving El Chalten on a perfect day to see Cerro Fitzroy in all its glory.

Cycling the Pampa
Riding adjacent to the Andes through the windy pampa on awful dirt roads.

The road to Torres del Paine National Park
With views like this ahead of you, it's hard not to get excited about the road ahead.

Christmas day 2019
Grim weather that almost reminds me of home. Shame not to see Torres del Paine NP in full view.

Riding towards El Chalten
I'd been looking forward to this road since before I left. On a perfect day you'd see the Fitzoy range ahead, sadly for me this wasn't going to happen today.

Where am I going?
At the very end of the road at the bottom of Argentina. Now for the long ride up to Alaska.

Think it looks cold? It was.
Pushing my bike through ice cold rivers at the end of the world (Ushuaia) to join the trail again.

London to Cape Town by bike
I actually did it. My final destination in Africa after cycling here all the way from London, UK.

Outpost in the desert, Namibia
This old outpost has old cars, a gas station & a small bakery apparently selling the best apple pie in Africa. It was pretty good.

Nearly there...
Just 4 kilometres until my last border crossing in Africa, South Africa.

The long road ahead
Riding a main highway in Namibia. It's hot, windy & occasionally pretty boring.
