ABOUT

Me & my journey so far

For a keen cyclist, with a desire to travel, the discovery that some people travel the world on bikes was an exciting revelation.

Being a cost-effective, eco-friendly method of transportation, that also allows more freedom to meet local people & see a country in more detail, it was pretty obvious that this would be the perfect way to see the world. The seed had been sown & for 2 years the idea slowly developed until the fear of regret made it impossible to ignore it any longer.

After 2 short test tours in the UK, months of gathering equipment & parts, on the 6th September 2018 I left my home country to embark on the 1st stage of my journey around the world by bike - London to Cape Town.

Taking just over a year, I covered nearly 20,000km, over 2 continents (Europe & Africa).

I’m now engaging on my next challenge; the Americas. Firstly, riding in Brazil & Uruguay, I'll then flew down to the bottom of the world to start my attempt of another multi-continent route, starting in Ushuaia, Argentina & continuing onto Alaska, U.S.A.

So, continue to follow and support my journey as I ride on in South, Central & North America, & then hopefully beyond.
